Kingswells Spring Clean Litter Pick
Kingswells is taking part in the Spring Clean Scotland campaign, and we invite local residents to join our family friendly litter pick on Sunday 19th April 2026, from 10:30am to 2:00pm. Dogs are welcome.
🦺 All litter picking equipment will be provided, including high-visibility vests, pickers and bags, with children’s vests and pickers available.
📍 We will walk together as a group along the Bucks Burn boardwalk, continuing behind Dobbies and returning through the Kingswells housing estate.
✅ This is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, meet neighbours and help keep our village paths clean. Please mark yourself as “Going” so we can ensure there is enough equipment for everyone.

Time: 10:30am – 2:00pm
Meeting Point: Bucks Burn entry (Kingswells Crescent)
🔻 10:30am – Welcome and briefing at the Bucks Burn path entrance (just past the bridge on Kingswells Crescent).
📍We will walk together as a group along the Bucks Burn boardwalk, behind Dobbies, along the path behind Kingswood Avenue, back into the Kingswells housing estate, through the open green space behind Midmar, down and behind the Wellside Place park, through the tree-lined path to Concraig, and back to the Bucks Burn starting point.
🔻 End: Filled black bin bags will be left at the entry point for collection. Litter pickers and vests will be returned at the end, followed by a group photo.
