Looking to meet new people, learn something new, or just have a bit of fun? Kingswells is full of fantastic groups and clubs run by local residents — and there’s something for everyone! From singing and crafts to sports and social meet-ups, come along and be part of what makes our village such a vibrant place.

👶 Baby & Toddler Groups

  • Kingswells Toddlers Group
    Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:15–11:15 AM at Kingswells Community Centre. Offers a friendly space for babies to preschoolers with toys, snacks, and social time for parents and carers.  
  • Kidsize Playgroup
    Held at The Clubhouse, Kingswells, Monday to Friday, 9:15 AM–12:45 PM. Designed for children aged 2–5, with flexible session options including lunch.  
  • Baby Sensory Classes
    Part of Baby Sensory Aberdeen Central, these classes are available in Kingswells and nearby areas, offering sensory development activities for babies aged 0–13 months.  

 

🧒 Children & Youth Activities

  • 1st Kingswells Scouts
    Offers Beavers (ages 6–8), Cubs (8–10½), and Scouts (10½–14). Meetings are held weekly during term time.  
  • Kingswells Youth Club
    For young people in S1–S6, meets Wednesdays, 6:30–8:30 PM at Kingswells Community Centre. A great place to meet friends and take part in activities.  
  • Kidsize Holiday Clubs & After School Club
    Kidsize Ltd provides holiday clubs and after-school care at Kingswells Community Centre, offering structured activities and childcare.  

 

🏃 Sports & Fitness

  • Karate, Badminton, Football, and Dance Classes
    Available at Kingswells Community Centre and Webster Park, catering to various age groups and skill levels.  
  • Kingswells Boxing Club
    A local boxing gym contributing to the vibrant sports scene in Kingswells.  

 

🎨 Arts, Crafts & Social Groups

  • Singing, Crafts, and Social Meet-ups
    Kingswells hosts various groups run by local residents, including singing and craft sessions, providing opportunities for creativity and social interaction.  
  • Kingswells Church Men’s Lunch Club
    A monthly gathering aimed at encouraging men to meet for lunch, fostering community and combating isolation.  

 

Community Spaces & Events

  • Kingswells Community Centre & Webster Park
    Hosts a variety of activities and events, including a cozy coffee shop, hall/room hire, and classes for all ages.  
  • Prime Four Community Trust
    Supports local charitable groups within the Kingswells Community Council Area, enhancing community amenities and services.
