The Kingswells Community Council have been organising further improvements to the duck pond to help bring this area back to life—and we’d love you to be part of it! The Kingswells Community Council have been awarded LEAF funding, which is helping support these exciting improvements to the area.
Join us on Sunday 10th May for a hands-on community day to enhance the duck pond and surrounding area (between Kingswells Drive and Kingswood Drive).
- Planned activities include:
- Putting up bird boxes and bee hotels built by the Kingswells Scouts
- Planting native shrubs and wildflowers
- Repairing the pontoon
Snacks and drinks will be provided by the Kingswells Community Council for all volunteers.
