📣 ANNOUNCEMENT: ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NEW KINGSWELLS COMMUNITY COUNCIL 🆕
We are pleased to announce that a new Kingswells Community Council has now been officially established.
This marks a renewed chapter in the representation and support of the Kingswells community. With fresh perspectives and a strong commitment to civic engagement, the newly formed council is poised to make a meaningful contribution to the local area.
Aberdeen City Council has today confirmed the publication of the Notice of Uncontested Election, and we are authorised to share this important update with the community.
✅ Eight councillors have been duly confirmed to serve on the Kingswells Community Council. As the number of valid nominations did not exceed the available seats, there will be no need for an election on 3rd July.
The inaugural meeting of the new council will provide an opportunity for councillors to meet with local elected representatives, appoint office bearers, and establish the governance arrangements that will guide the council’s activities moving forward.
