🌼🌸 A colourful welcome is on its way to Kingswells this spring following the planting of 1,500 spring bulbs across our village this morning. A lovely mixture of muscari, crocuses, Puschkinia libanotica and chionodoxa was planted to bring early-season colour and life to our local green spaces.
The planting effort took place this morning and was carried out by local volunteers Crystal, Nicola Mackay and Carol Milne, working alongside members of the Kingswells Community Council — Fennella, John, Ruth, David and Claire. Their combined efforts made the morning a great success, and sincere thanks go to everyone involved for giving their time.
The bulbs have been planted in several locations around Kingswells, including around all three Kingswells entrance signs at Huxterstone Terrace, opposite Corse Avenue, and at Derbeth Place. Additional planting has taken place along the curved road on Kingswood Drive near Kingswood Mews, as well as along Kingswells Crescent near Wellside Avenue.
