Mark has written out to his constituents in Kingswells and Danestone enclosing a survey on broadband service in order to establish the adequacy of their current service.

Following a number of constituents raising concerns with him regarding the broadband connectivity in his constituency areas of Kingswells and Danestone, Mark decided to contact residents in order for them to have their say on the matter.

Mark has called for all responses to be completed and returned to his office by 10th February and following receipt of these, he will make contact with area broadband providers and will ensure that the concerns of the communities are raised with them. The survey contains questions surrounding the adequacy of the connection and the choice of providers available to the residents.

Commenting, Mark said,“In this day and age, we are all fully aware of just how important access to fast, reliable broadband is. That is why it is essential that the views of my constituents are heard by the providers and that an adequate service is provided consistently throughout Aberdeen City and its surroundings.

“Broadband can no longer be considered a thing of luxury; it is an important part of everyday life.

"I hope that all residents with a view on this issue respond to the survey in order that we can get these concerns passed onto the providers to ensure that my constituents do not lose out on the benefits of broadband access.”
