Weekend Road Closures and Lane Closures

Traffic Management week commencing 27th August 2016

Side Roads between Milltimber and South Kingswells  

Contlaw Road

Week commencing 27/08/2016: No planned traffic management.

C127C Wester Ord to Blacktop Road

Week commencing 20/08/2016: A road closure will be in place on the C127C, between 2100hrs and 0600hrs, from Friday 26 August to Saturday 27 August, to safely facilitate AWPR works. Local diversions will be in place whilst the road closure is in operation.

Week commencing 27/08/2016: A road closure will be in place on the C127C, between 2100hrs and 0600hrs, from Saturday 27 August to Friday 02 September, to safely facilitate AWPR works. Local diversions will be in place whilst the road closure is in operation.

A new road layout will be operational from Monday 13 June 2016.

Plant crossing controlled by movement activated traffic signal system in operation.

A944 South Kingswells Area

A944 Main Carriageway

Week commencing 27/08/2016: A lane closure will be in place on the A944 eastbound carriageway, between 0600hrs and 1800hrs, from Saturday 27 August to Sunday 28 August, to safely facilitate AWPR works. Local diversions will be in place whilst the road closure is in operation.

C93C Clinterty to Kingsford Road

Week commencing 20/08/2016: No planned traffic management.

Week commencing 27/08/2016: No planned traffic management.

Side Roads between South Kingswells and Craibstone

U90C Tulloch Road

Week commencing 20/08/2016: No planned traffic management.

Week commencing 27/08/2016: A road closure will be in place on the U90C, from 2000hrs Friday 26 August to 0600hrs Monday 29 August, to safely facilitate AWPR works. Local diversions will be in place whilst the road closure is in operation.

To facilitate AWPR enabling works, a new road layout will be in operation from 0600hrs on Monday 11 April 2016.

C89C Chapel of Stoneywood to Fairley Road

Week commencing 20/08/2016: No planned traffic management.

Week commencing 27/08/2016: No planned traffic management.

Plant crossing controlled by movement activated traffic signal system in operation.

A 40 mph temporary speed restriction is in place on the C89C within the vicinity of the AWPR site offices at Craibstone. This is to allow AWPR site traffic to safely use site access and plant crossing points alongside existing road users. The temporary speed restriction is expected to be in place for the duration of the project’s construction works.
