Kingswells Drive

The issue of anti-social behaviour has been raised by a local resident who would like this issue highlighted.

Playground area, Kingswells Drive

To: Kingswells_incoming <info@kingswells.com>

I refer to park area located in Kingswells Drive and the youths that now congregate in the park on a regular basis in the evenings.  These are locals who remain in the park late into the evening until midnight and beyond.

The continual loud music that is being played and screaming and shouting is getting really frustrating.
I have personally witnessed families with young children walk away from the park rather than face confrontation as the teenagers monopolise the area.
Can you please highlight this in the next bulletin so it can be brought to the attention of the the residents whose teenagers spend their evenings / nights there.
I am sending this message and all I can hear is loud screaming and shouting which has now been going on for most of the evening along with the loud music.

I brought this to the attention of our councillor who advised to contact Police, but quite frankly it’s down to parents not the police.

This said if this continues then I along with many other residents in the area around the park will simply phone the police on a regular basis and report anti social behaviour.

I along with many other residents have put up with this for most of the summer even through lock down with teenagers showing a complete lack of respect for locals.

I walked through the area yesterday morning and it was strewn with empty bottles etc.

This is anti social behaviour which I have never witnessed in Kingswells before.

If you walk over right now, you can listen yourself.

Please highlight this issue.
