5th Kingswells Litter Pick
Image: 5th Kingswells Litter Pick Your help is wanted to help clean up the village

Kingswells 5th litter pick takes place on Saturday 8th April, between 11 am and 3 pm.  Everyone involved in the pick is a volunteer, with one common goal to keep Kingswells litter free and a pleasant and safe place to be.

In 2016, with the two litter picks, one in April, one in October and two done by the brownies 84 bags of litter were collected in 2016.  That's a huge amount of rubbish for our small community.

Unfortunately, this year hasn't begun well regarding the amount of litter in the village. It doesn't seem the litter is reducing, as selfish individuals with no respect for Kingswells are making a point of dropping litter everywhere, and even targeting areas such as throwing drink cans over the bridge.

You can help identify these litter-prone sectors that need attention, by posting your images and photos of litter and rubbish in the village onto the Kingswells Facebook page, this will help us target areas on the day of the litter pick.

So please join the litter pick and help us remove the litter from the Bucksburn and other ponds and hot spots in the village.

Everyone is very welcome.

Please keep Kingswells Litter Free.
