Mud Pies in Kingswells

Weekly nature classes for nursery children to explore the great outdoors.

A totally new type of event for young children is beginning at Countesswells Woods later this month.

Mud Pies classes offer exciting weekly woodland activities, helping 2 to 5 year olds and their adults to discover nature and explore and play outdoors.

Come along to this four week course and explore Countesswells woods - find out about trees, collect and plant tree seeds, have teddy bear picnics and of course make mud pies!

Classes are run by Wild Child in association with Forestry Commission Scotland. A second four week session runs in November and December. Sessions are also being run at Scolty, Banchory in October/November and further classes will run in other city and shire woods throughout 2010.

The Countesswells Woods classes run on Mondays, from 26 Oct 2009 to 16 Nov 2009. Sessions run from 10 to 11.15am, 12 noon to 1.15pm or 2 to 3.15pm, and cost £24 for a four week session.
