KINGSWELLS YOUTH GROUP
Thanks again to all youths who are
participating in the quest to improve local facilities for their peers. Can we
just update all teenagers to what is currently happening within the youth group
as a result of your influence and also ask anyone of you interested in helping the
group to progress to contact us. (Barrie Buchan-741329, Linda Press-743775)

INTERESTED IN SOME EVENING OPENINGS OF THE KINGSWELLS
COMMUNITY CENTRE COFFEE SHOP THROUGHOUT THE WINTER MONTHS (7.30pm- 9.30pm)
This could be a great place to congregate and meet
friends. We need to find youth workers interested in staffing the coffee shop
and we are currently talking to KCC and ACC to assist with this but are there
any persons in the community who feel they could help us more! Get in touch.

YOUTH BUS
With not a lot of community centre space for teenagers,
it would seem a wonderful idea to have a mobile bus which could accommodate
youth activity such as computers, music and DVDs. It happens in other areas, so
let’s make it happen here! If you have any ideas or if you want to be involved
please get in touch. If you would like to see what we mean, visit-
The Beacon minibus has been booked to take approx 13 teenagers
over to the Beacon Community Centre on Tues 6th December. This is so
that they can discuss what can be done to improve community facilities for
them. We are hoping for a good turn out.
Finally, it was so disappointing to see the notice
board had again been vandalized. It is such senseless behaviour which costs a
lot to fix. Since it is one of the few means of passing on details of What’s On in Kingswells to the young folk we would
appreciate if it was respected.
