Finally common sense has prevailed !
Well done to whoever was responsible for ensuring double yellow lines have been fully implemented on Kingswells Avenue around the area of the school.
There is now double yellow lines from the junction of Kingswood Drive right the way along to the dirt track East of Cromar Gardens.
I have seen a couple of near misses over the years due to the parking situation, volume of traffic and the narrow road.
This will hopefully make the area a safer environment for all our children.

Why do some selfish people think that a little bit snow can mean that they break the law and put children's lives in danger ?
Some of the parking around the school in the last week has been an absolute disgrace.
Some vehicles have been regularly parking across the zig-zags on both pedestrian crossings. I could still see the markings on the road, why can't you ?
Although the yellow lines on Kingswells Avenue have been obscured by the snow, some people think that gives them a right to park on them.
Can those people please think about our children's safety ?

The double yellow lines have indeed worked for Kingswells Avenue, unfortunately these ignorant people have just moved to parking in the residential streets around the same area. Perish the thought that their precious little bundle of joy would actually have to walk.
The school should have some kind of drop of area for those kids that can't walk.
All residential areas should be for residents or emergency vehicles only. Anything else should be lifted and crushed.

Suppose if you live by a school you have to accept that it will happen and not moan about it, agree that sometimes it is pure laziness.
