| Having read a few of the posts I see that some people have been successfully connected with ORANGE.
Could one of those people please reply and let me know how you are getting on.
How do you find using the 'Livebox' and is the quality of calls good.
Any comments positive and negative would be appreciated, as I hope to sign with them next week.

You asked for peoples experience with Orange and the Livebox system. Well having been live for a couple of weeks now I can say I am happy.
I have now been live with Orange since the 26th for Broadband using the Livebox. I ordered it through their website and was connected within 8 days. I chose as I work from home at times, but I need to make a lot of international conference calls and the Orange package allows free calls to land lines both within the UK and International at any time, this saves me and my employer a lot of money.
The setup to get the Livebox working was easy and after the first 2 days I have been getting approx 6.5 Mb rate.
I am currently using two computers, a desktop and a laptop. The Laptop is connected via wireless and the desktop via a network cable. Both are working perfectly.
Last weekend I got an email from Orange saying that the telephone service through the Livebox was now active, and that I had to switch off the Livebox for 15 minutes to enable it, but it did not work. I phoned their call centre on Monday and again on Thursday to sort out the issue. By Thursday evening the telephone was working just great. I even got a call on Friday from Orange to confirm that everything was working ok.
So, after all the time trying to get broadband, putting up the likes of Village Internet and LanGreen (through the sport centre), I am now a happy surfer! I’m getting great speed, free calls and a reliable service.

| I take it the Livebox is like the BT router with the telephone handset.
Anyway, can I steal this thread and ask if anyone has gone for the 2meg broadband with Orange?
My speed test shows 458 down and 246 up. My computer says I have a 576kbps connection speed and I'm in concraig park.
