| Censor away Claire. Just about sums up things around here, the few do-gooders trying to rule all our lives. Mr. Blair and co.'s nanny stateism is alive and well.

| I think you are over-reacting a little 'Guest'.
I read a Westhill BB about a year ago and some threads had become totally disgusting due to lack of moderation, we don't want that to happen here. |

| I haven't used any expletives or profanities, nor do I intend to. What's more I agree that to lower oneself to use such language represents a distinct lack of intelligence. However the unintelligent are not necessarily bad people, even if they do use bad language, and should be allowed their say. |

| I think that Claire and the team have every right to censor pointless, offensive threads and posts. They've worked so hard to provide us with this great resource and it must be so disappointing to see that it's being abused in many ways. The forum as it was on the old site was good fun. I don't remember so many of the threads being so intimidating or negative. There was a lot of wit about. I hope it gets back to the way it was. |
