This may be of no interest to some as I believe this is an old issue but has everyone payed the current bills from Peveral? If not, why and what has subsequently happened? I for one, ignored the recent bill as I really felt appalled at having to spend my good money on a pants service. Now my bill has been passed onto Credit Consultants, who have a delightful (that was utter sarcasm) Glaswegian woman who keeps calling me to hound me for my payment. If I don't pay up, court action will begin...da,da,da,da. As the Clash might ask..."Should I pay or should I go now!?"

It depends where you live , certainly in Wellside Peveral have messed things up and have suspended the final account until they sort it out with Stewart Milne , I personally have written to them asking for a refund as it appears we have been overcharged for the last 6 years , however every area is different. If you live in my area and have received correspondance from the WRA then give me a call . George Morrison

Last night,I came home to card from the postman, advising me they had 'something' held at their Mastrick depot pending a £1.21 underpaid postage charge. Having called the Post Office to enquire (I'm not expecting anything I should have to pay for) I am told it is a letter with Peverel markings ! I'm tempted to completely ignore it,as I cannot believe their cheek in sending a letter with unpaid postage. :msn_mad: What's your opinions ?

Ignore it, the post office will return to sender then Peverel and put on a stamp and post it back to you. On the other hand it could be a refund cheque, unlikely but it is christmas !

Yes a double whammy!!!! Good for you..... But however Peverel will continue to demand money, that's their main function in life. Cutting grass & moving a few weeds around was just a by-product from their services. Georgem I think you will have no chance in getting a refund, only a nasty reminder from a credit control agency. Unless you take legal action to recover your loss?. It's been said time & time again "Stewart Milne & Peverel piss in the same pot" Well done to those ones that finally broke away & formed their Residents Associations. Congratulations to all concerned.
