Can anyone shed any light on the cameras which seem to have appeared over the weekend on the Kingswells roundabout? Some of them have been strapped to lampposts and others have their own posts. They look fairly temporary and lead me to believe they are surveying traffic levels. Any opinions or thoughts???

They were putting the cameras up on the Lang Stacht round-a-bout this morning. Traffic Monitoring or something similar was written on the van. Great idea to monitor traffic at the Kingswells round-a-bout on a bank holiday weekend. :msn_wink: Any other time and the cameras would have been too close to see exactly how much traffic there really is.

Yesterday afternoon they were fixing a camera to a lampost in Langstracht nr junction with Anderson drive. Looks like they might be monitoring traffic trying to negociate the awful road layouts between the centre and Westhill.
