| Does anyone happen to know which company supplied the windows for the Persimmon houses in Wellside Wynd? I'd be really grateful if anyone could help. Thanks. |

I too stay in Wellside Wynd
The windows were supplied by watson dallas windows from Cambuslang
I contacted Persimmon about some problems 2 years ago, however I was directed to A company formed after Watson/Dallas went bust however they weren't too helpful in honouring any 10 year warranty issues from the old company, even the NHBC couldn't help.
the current details are :-

| Hi Alan, I did contact Persimmon who told me it was either Watson/Dallas or Magnet. Watson/Dallas said they fitted windows in the Stuart Milne houses and I can't track down Magnet at the no. I was given.

| "NHBC" an insurance scheme run by the builders for the builders...say no more!!!
but the flags outside the show houses do look impresive.
Get your self around to AC Yule, as they do & will cover their warrenty commitments. |

| It's just a replacement part I want, not new windows. That's why I need to find out who installed them, so I can track down the manufacturers. |

Don't tell me.....
you need the white strips that form the panel layout on the window?
As the earlier comment about NHBC, waste of space! Every problem I've had seemed not to fall into their remit. So 10 Year Window guarentees are worthless.
Galaxy Services in Inverurie can help out with window parts.

| get yourself a small screw driver & make a visit to a Persimmions show house.
gently remove the white strip of your choice !!!!
replace your old one for one of theirs....... & swap |
