The joys of staying next to one of Scotlands six cities, yes we have an airport. Unless I am very mistaken I'm sure the airport was there long before the majority of houses were built in Kingswells and to my knowledge the runway has not been moved lately therefore the approach path can not be over our residents. If one disapproves of aircraft noise, traffic noise, the kids screaming next door etc then one should seek residents at the top of Bennachie.

Hi Callum, There are certain limits and restrictions that the aircraft have to adhere to (I don't profess to know them). However, the wind direction will have an impact on the level of noise. Aircraft noise can be reported to the airport on 0870 040 0006. I hope this helps. Claire

If one doesn't like aircraft, then one shouldn't purchase a house near to an airport.:msn_wink:
