Who do they think they are?? I am furious, why should these travellers be allowed to use the P&R and be provided with facilities within six hours of arriving. One traveller has been quoted as saying "It has made us feel very welcome" NOT by any of my neighbours they haven't. I'm sure that if I tried to set up my caravan for a free six week holiday the council would have me moved immediately. I have since found out that the person to log your complaint to is Ian Anderson #790770 at the city council.

If the council refuse to do anything, then perhaps a different approach is needed. Iam sure there are enough people who want them to leave to get together as a group.............

Better there than at the end of the Four Mile Inn road. So long as the travellers are not causing trouble I can't see why they can't use the P&R. Let's face it, the P&R is pretty much empty on the lower levels most of the year and with them there, it is less likely we are going to suffer Boy Racers and Mini Moto's during the summer holidays. Which is the lesser of two evils?

I see Kingswells is down for 2 of 4 'travellers halts', is there no advantage to having our local councillor as Lord Provost ?

Yet another example of the council not caring about what the people who voted them in think. Look after the non tax payers etc. Thats the style. Just walk over the normal joe who pays his huge amount of council tax If the travelling folk want to be treated the same as us, they should use the designated existing site and pay their way, not just free loading and leaving the place like a tip !!!
