Interest in this initiative is rising can we organise a discussion thread to develop this. Every one thinks it is a great idea They think it is some else responibility Believe somebody is doing something when in fact no one is doing very much, least of all the authorities If every body did a little it would happen It is a no brainer as an idea, off road top class cycle path between Kingswells and Bucksburn for the new school. How about we get organised email djm@sigen.co.uk

Update on the Cycle path initiative. Rachel Green at ACC is doing great work having secured funding for a design study to be carried out over the summer. Kingswells Community will be consultd as part of this design study. Her feeling is that for the multiple user groups targeted a properly metalled 3m wide path is a minimum. Hear! Hear! Was this breakthrough the result of our petitioning?, maybe. Did we contribute to progress? probably. Do we take all the credit, definitely not, many have been asking for this. Do we have a better chance of seeing it to come to fruitition? yes but I still urge any one interested to keep up the pressure and lend support.
