Councillor Peter Stephen is again standing for election in the forthcoming election. Regardless of your political affiliation, if any, you may be interested to learn that Councillor Stephen would be entitled to a payment of £10,000 from public funds if he had chosen to retire from representing Kingswells. In contrast to many a a man and wife who have suddenly been able to discard a lifetime's calling to public service, grabbed the cash and legged it, Councillor Stephen has foregone this payment in order to continue doing his best for us. Unusual and impressive selflessness in this day and age, I would say. For the benefit of the amoeba who will react with outrage to this simple statement of fact, I do not support his party...

He certainly seems to be interested in the corcerns of residents of Kingswells and regardless of politics he should be applauded for that.. I wuld also say that Brian Adam MSP deserves praise also especially for his considerable efforts regarding the provision of broadband for areas of Kingswells. I would say we are very fortunate to have 2 local representatives who have a genuine interest in the community. Good luck to both in the forthcoming elections..

I fully endorse the comments of the last post,especially regarding brian adam it is the first time I have had dealings with an MSP and I must say I was very impressed with the way he reacted so quickly when I was emailing regarding broadband. I also met him when he was meeting with the BT executives at the green cabinets,very approachable person. Good luck Brian.

wot about that thing that was in the paper think it was the evening express saying that he spend alot of money on things just think all that money could be used on useful things like making kingswells a better place.
