I will be changing from my existing medical practise for myself and family - obvious choice is to try and join the Kingswells Practise. How easy is it to get an appointment at Kingswells ? What are folks findings ? Thanks

I can't speak for other people and everyone has different needs and expectations from their doctors, but our experience of Kingswells Practise has been good. There is no comparison between there and our last practice for appointment times and their willingness to accommodate/fit appts in where speedy help is needed. There are never any long waiting times either, ie being seen about an hour after your appt time which was a huge problem with my last practice. I have absolutely no complaints whatever. One doctor who I don't go to, but only because I find that one a bit overpowering, but lots of others to go to and you find your own preferences whatever practice you go to. Good luck with finding a practice.

The chemist will pick up regular prescriptions. Not open on a Wednesday afternoon, but otherwise provides an excellent service.

I have been registered since it opened in 1999,in general give a good service. They are a branch of the Victoria St practise near Holburn Junction and the four GPs shsre their time with that practise,so each one is only there part time. I am a type 2 Diabetic and they only have one GP who specialises so I usually have to give a weeks notice for a routine appointment.
