Does anybody else have lousy water pressure in Kingswells, or think it could be a LOT better. I have mains fed but I'm still of the opinion thats it's not that great. Any suggestions ?

Alert, alert. You have been spotted by the PC Gestapo for uttering dodgy plumbing terms that could be construed as filth. I've no doubt that they are goose stepping towards you as I write this.

I was involved in the construction of the new reservoir up in the woods near the cults road roundabout, if my memory serves me correctly this only serves the houses built after 95 or SMH Ph2. All these houses have pressure reducing valves set at around 3bar otherwise the pressure would be to great for the fittings.
The problem with putting the older houses directly onto the new reservoir would be that as all the ballcocks in your cisterns and the shower mixers are the low pressure type these would have to be replaced in order for you to remove the storage tank & utilise direct mains pressure.

Hi there, Thanks for that info. but it doesn't really help. I wish my house did have 3bar that would be lovely. I'm not sure when this house was built but the guy from the Waterboard said that my house was served via an old reservoir on top of the hill. I think it's been there forever kinda thing. Cheers....
