Personally i live in a stuart milne house, and i rarely notice the helicopters. And even if i do theyre gone in like a minute and i wont hear another for a couple of days???
But its still stupid that while they have the north sea and a giant amount of countryside to practice over they choose to fly over Aberdeen.

The good news is that all the helicopter companies are currently investing in new simulators.
What this means from about 12 months time there will be much fewer training flights.
Training flights make up the vast majorit of the helicopter traffic over Kingswells.
The rest are air tests and the ocassional WoS visual approach.
