I've had enough of getting cheated when i make purchases
in the store.
Why should i have to ask for a receipt so i can make sure i'm
not being cheated ?
Prices on the displays are sometimes not matching the bar codes.
I usually know roughly how much i should be spending and realise
when a mistake has been made but i'm sure lots of people simply pay and
assume they are being charged the right amount.
I raised the subject and got told complaints had been made about
a litter problem so you have to ask for a receipt.
I decided just to stop shopping there - no big deal to them but
a warning to ask for a receipt.

There are a lot of problems with the co-op store,I recently visited with my elderly mother who is disabled and needs the help of a trolley to get round as you know the trolleys are locked together outside, you need a pound coin to access. Well this day the lead trolleys mechanism had been vandalised so could not get a trolley.
I tried to get help from staff but all they did was apologise, did not try to free up a trolley.
I have written to Co-op Head Office in Manchester to suggest that there is no need for 6 trolleys for such a small shop and they could keep a couple inside the store for those who need one like my mother.
