Alert
The equipment in the play park at the end of Wellside Wynd is in a dangerous condition.
1 - Broken slats in the perimeter fence means nails are exposed at a height of about 4 ft.
2 - Toddler swing has safety bar missing.
3 - Loose matting causing a trip hazard around both sets of swings.
4 - Stepping stones have become loose.
5 - Wooden chips on ground very sparse therefore muddy puddles on ground.
Admittedly there has been vandalism to the fence but it's more a question of maintenance.
Apparently, a residents association in Wellside Wynd has outsourced its maintenance to the City Council.
Questions:
What is the best way to get the council to do some maintenance?
Speak to the Residents Association? If so who?
Complain to somebody at the Council? If so who?
Does the Community Council have any interest or influence?
Hope somebody can help before a child is injured or worse.

As far as I know Alan Stott is chair of the R.A. His email address can be found on the Community Council page. Hope this helps.
