Was there ever more plans for any more amenities to be brought into Kingswells when they built the last of the new houses at the far side? A co-op, Chinese and pizza place hardly does much for the sole..... What about a nice butcher... or something a little different to cater for the wider taste that is in Kingswells? A good Old chip shop would have been a very good idea!!! The Co-op has gone really down hill over the last year or so, and could be doing with a complete re-fit! its a nightmare at a night time - as there is nowhere to queue!!!

Get rid of the estate agents as they bring nothing to the area.

As an addition to the comment, when walking around Kingswells there are various little play areas that developers have been forced to include, some which are good and others which are poor i.e. minimal Should we approach the CC to look into getting a decent central play area where the kids can go and play. The area between the shops and the main road ( west- sorry can't remember the name of the streets) would be central. A good mix of swings, frames, slides etc would be good I'm sure this would be money better spent than on a park n bide for the travelling people

The community council has some cash (£4,000) to spend on small projects. Any suggestion would be welcomed. The problem with play areas is that they need to be maintained and insured and many are actually owned by a residents association. Assistance may be available to upgrade these facilities.
