I have just viewed the minutes of KCC meeting on 10 March and there was no "meeting" because only 4 out of 11 members attended.I bet the invited guests eg the press,police ACC councillor and others including two members of public were impressed. If all members of the council know when the meetings are held, why can they not make the time to attend. I appreciate that a lot of the KCC work is done outwith meetings but surely 7 absentees is not acceptable.

The members who were missing had very good reasons, and no more needs to be said. The meeting did take place and was actually very informative. As Concraig says much of the work is actually done outside the meetings, so Kingswells is still well represented. Currently the community council has 10 members out a possible 12, so we are looking for 2 new members. Everyone is welcome to join.
