The St Nicholas Post Office will be run by W.H. Smith. The new post office will provide: * Extended opening hours Mon-Sat 09:00 – 17:30 * The same range of services as currently available * Two ATMs * 7 serving positions * Low level writing desk and serving counter. Postwatch Scotland will be checking to see if: 1. there will be enough counter positions and space at the new site to cope with customer demand 2. queuing times will be affected 3. the full range of products and services will be provided 4. the quality of service the post office will offer 5. there will be suitable access for disabled people 6. there will be a 24 hour posting facility Do you think Postwatch should be doing more, or should consider other factors when assessing the new facility? If you have any views on this, please post a message and KCC will pass them on to Postwatch.
